Wayne State Insiders explore placemaking and the Office of Economic Development
September 22 2016 at 12:00 PM
Student Center
Vibrant and welcoming public spaces help build a strong campus and a more successful community. Placemaking is a core component of Wayne State’s role in making Detroit a 24-hour, pedestrian-friendly city. Join us to learn how the efforts of Wayne State’s Office of Economic Development have enriched the public spaces on our main campus and beyond. After a short walking tour, lunch will be available for purchase at one of the many food trucks that enhance our dining options. The Wayne State Insiders includes alumni, friends, students, parents, faculty and staff who serve as informal ambassadors for Wayne State and our Midtown community. We welcome anyone excited about the positive impact of WSU and Detroit’s urban renewal. The more we learn, the more we can share and the greater our collective impact can be.
